Task 2: Ethical decisions
Tescos decided to sell chickens for £1.99 each. They said this was to help shoppers on a budget. There were loud complaints from people who are interested in animal welfare because they argue that this would encourage people to buy cheap chicken bred in battery farms. The farmers lobby wasn't happy either because this would lead to Tescos wanting even cheaper chickens, so farmers incomes would fall. |

A prison has been proposed for a site within one mile of our school. Working in small groups, put together a list of reasons why this development should not be allowed to take place.
