A shrinking world
Modern technology, combined with improved communication and transportation, has made it easier to trade around the world. Our nations are interdependent. It is not really the countries themselves that trade, but the businesses and consumers within those countries. The importance of trade is likely to only increase and technology mores forwards. |
Making trade fairer Trade is an important way for any country to earn money and create jobs. People and countries have traded for thousands of years, but in today's global economy information, goods and money can be moved around the world at an incredible speed. Companies aim to make the best product at the lowest price. |
