Starter task: How good is your memory? |
Lesson 11: Creating an action plan |
|
Whether you have a memory like a goldfish or an elephant, it is always good practice to create an action plan so you know what you need to do and when.
Just ensure once you have gone to the trouble of creating the action plan you actually use it! |
Resource 6
As a group you need to address the issues you have identified for your project. Consider what you hope to achieve (your aim) and the steps you can take to get there (your objectives). Although you may wish to discuss ideas as a class, you each need to fill out a copy of Resource 6, P.162 of the teacher book and file it in your red folder. |
Resource 7
Now you have a better understanding of your project and what you are hoping to achieve it is time to consider what additional research would suit the work you are doing. To complete Resource 7 (P.163), consider what you have done already, what you plan to do in the future and then set yourself one additional research task as homework. You will need to agree this with your teacher and of course you will require evidence to record in the red folder. Use the sheet as a prompt, however you may wish to include your own methods as well. |
Homework 7 - due lesson 13
You are to set yourself you own homework task based on the research you would still like to conduct for the project. This must be agreed by your teacher |
Resource 8
Having completed Resource 6 and Resource 7 you should now have a good understanding of what is left to be done. Your teacher will be able to give you some of the task and dates that you have yet to complete, but you must also include other tasks which you would like to include, your HW7 will be one of these. Once you have finalised your action plan, write it up in Resource 8 (P.164) and file it in your red folder. |
Plenary: Test your longer term memory. Without notes or discussion, how many items can you remember from the starter video at the beginning of the lesson? |
